The first thing I think of is the word tryst. I think a girl named this would be in for a lot of comments when she was not a little girl any more.

No, all the 'trist' names just seem too close to the word 'sad' to me. I don't like them.

As for mn, I would choose a very traditional mn. Tristie Anne, Tristie Jane, Tristie Catherine, Tristie Louise, Tristie Nicole etc.

Sorry its not really my style I prefer Trista or even Tristan for a girl or boy. :)
