Vitalia?
I stumbled across this name last night. It's similar to Natalia, but since I am a sucker for V names, I happen to be much fonder of Vitalia than Natalia. I love the -talia part of both names. Vitalia offers the nns Vita, which could grow on me, and Talia, which I already adore. Wdyto Vitalia? Is it too close to vidalia (as in, the type of onion)? Any MN suggestions? Wdyto Vitalia Louise or the nns Vita or Talia?

great nick names to go with !
I threw this name out on the board a while (like a long time) ago and there was barely a lick of positivity in the response I got. It looks like you're getting better. :-)
I like it very much, though not enough to actually use it. I said once before that Vitalia sounds like the name of a young woman who could probably kick my ass in a fight, and I stand by that. :-) I think it's a beautiful name with a lot of character. I love Vita, too.
Motherland fatherland homeland native land.
It’s all the same. What the hell good to you
is your native land after you’re dead? Whose
native land is it after you’re dead?

I have to admit I actually prefer Vidalia (yes, exactly like the onion). I prefer the sound (I say vee-TAHL-yah for Vitalia, and vih-DAAL-yah, AA as in attic, for Vidalia) and the appearance of the name. And I think Dalia, Vida, and Dally are all really cute nns.
Vitalia certainly is a handsome choice, though--no slight against the name. :) Vitalia Louise is all right, but the L's are too close together for my tastes. I like lots of L, but spread out a bit.
Array (will come up with combos when she's not on the run)
...And then he said, "You're independent, aren't you?"
"Yes," said Laura.
