The fact that you mispronounced it doesn't mean that it's ok to perpetuate the mispronunciation! Not to mention that the majority of people don't think that Rhys is pronounced "rice", so if you pronounced it that way for a son, your son would be constantly correcting people and having to explain that Mummy changed the pronunciation or used the wrong one (making you look stupid, I'm afraid, sorry).Rhys pronounced "reese" is much better imo. It's a nice name when spelled and pronounced correctly!
