Re: Summer!

I wouldn't use another noun as a mn. It would sound more like a phrase than a name: summer meadow, summer eve, summer dawn, etc.
How about:
Summer Chloe
Summer Elena
Summer Adele
Summer Lucy
Summer Delphine (= delphinium, a type of flower)
Summer Lorelei
Summer Alix (= form of Alice)
Summer Katya
Summer Maia / Maya
Summer Julie / Juliet
Summer Lilith
Summer Aisling (ASH-ling, = dream)
Summer Eileen
Summer Fiona
Summer Catriona (ca-TREE-uh-ne, = Catherine)
Summer Carys
Summer Livia
Summer Olivia
Or, how about Alexandra, nn Sunny?

Thanks for the suggestions!
I like
Summer Chloe
Summer Adele
Summer Delphine (but too long imo)
Summer Julie (but I don't like Julie that much)
and
Summer Olivia
but no combo of these is a real "hit" to me...
Do you have any other ideas?
PS: Alexandra is OK, but I don't like the nn Sunny :)

What lovely name suggestions - I always enjoy reading your posts, Bear. Your comments are always insightful and useful.
Your check is in the mail.
I forgot Summer Eliza.
What's so wrong with Summer Eve? They are both lovely names that fit together well in a combo, and it's not like the words 'Summer's eve' have bad connotations or anything...I could understand you commenting if they wanted name their child Nuclear Warhead or something, but I really don't see the problem here?!
