Names of Crusaders, U-Z and women
(This in no way implies approval of the Crusades)
I came across a list of all known-by-name European participants in the Crusades (so, people who were adults in Europe between the 1090s and 1190s). Some interesting ones so I thought I'd share.

Welf, yikes. At 1st, I thought maybe it was like Wealth (which is an interesting historic name to me), but nope, BtN says it's whelp.
Why do Wolfker and Zaizolf look so cute to me...
Anonyma actually sounds nice...which makes sense because I already like Hieronyma.
Winrich, Walbric, and Corba are new to me and seem alright.
I wouldn't have guessed Mabel and Walker were so old.

had to do a double take ...
When I saw Humberga, to make sure it wasn't Hamburger or Humdinger.
Was Anonyma a real name, or was it something like a placeholder, like Jane Doe or Anonymous?

I’m not sure regarding Anonyma. At least one was a nun, so it might have been one of those ecclesiastical assumed names; but with medieval names not much surprises me!
No, I don’t think so - there were two women named Anonyma plus a half-dozen or so men named Anonymus. It wouldn’t be the strangest medieval name I’ve seen!
It seems kinda mystical.
