It reminds me of Alexa so I read it as a female name, but I come from an English-speaking country where most names that end in A are feminine. I have no strong feelings toward Oleksa.

I like it for girls, but prefer Oksana or Ksenia.

Oksana I like, Kseniya I like with Ukrainian pronunciation (kseh-NYEE-yah) with Russian pronunciation it is okay.

It's a stunning name. In my opinion, it sounds more feminine because of the '-a' ending, but I could definitely picture a male having this name too.

I prefer Oleksiy, but it's because I'm not used to end "a" for men. Besides that, I think it's pretty.

Where I am a is usually for girls but there are names like Illya and many folk form of male name end in a (Oleksa is included!)
I also prefer Oleksiy, but I also like Oleksa

I like it on a male. On a female, it reminds me of the related Alexa, which I despise.

I thought it was a feminine name when I first saw it on your post. Either way, it has a nice sound and I like Oleksa.
