Euri vs. Eury
I am debating the spelling for the name of a character. Which version do you prefer overall: Euri or Eury ?For some context, the character is a female main character, so the name will appear in text quite a bit. The character is meant to be unattractive and honestly a kind of unpleasant in terms of personality, though she is certainly not a bad person. She has been raised in a religious order. The setting is fantasy, not really pulling from any one geographic region.

I like both, but prefer Eury because it has that high-fantasy vibe but without being too whimsical.
Euri looks more namey to me. Eury looks closer to Fury, though maybe that's a positive if the character is unpleasant.

Euri for Euriamis.
Eury looks more natural to me, probably because it makes me think of Eurydice.
I personally prefer Euri. Something just seems off about Eury for me.

Personally, I like Eury better, but both spellings are nice! Eury is more common than Euri, I'm pretty sure, so if your fantasy world is more rooted in magic and stuff than it is the real world, I'd go with Euri instead.
How are you saying this name? Eh-oo-ree or like name Yuriy / Yuri? I prefer eh-oo-ree pronounciation.
Either way I like Euri more.
I’m going with more of a Yuriy/ Yuri pronunciation. I think that it sounds a little harsher that way, which fits the character.
