Re: Top 10 for April 2025
in reply to a message by Ariel
Almost missed it this month! Most of my changes were in the feminine list this time (which... is honestly pretty typical for my tastes):
Asa
Dominic
Donovan
Finn
Isaac
Kieran
Malcolm
Nicholas
Richard
Wesley
&
Elaine*
Josephine
Julia
Lauriana
Mary Emma (double name)
Miranda
Olivia*
Sabrina
Veronica*
Zoe
(Names with an asterisk are ones I cannot use in real life, at least not as first names.)
Asa, Kieran, Julia, Mary Emma, and Zoe replaced Adrian, James, Arlette, Marguerite, and Sapphira. Almost all of the names replaced were names newly added last month.
Mary Emma is a very recent love of mine--and I'm someone who has always found both names, individually, boring. I think the sound reminds me a bit of Miriam, but... more updated, maybe? I don't know, but I think they complement one another well.

Top 10 Combos for April 2025
I'm making a separate reply for the actual Top 10 "usable combos" I have for April, which is a different list and not to be considered for BtN's favorite names (if anyone is still compiling the data for that). It's different because this list doesn't consider the "unusable" names; so, in this case, there are 3 different first names on the feminine list:
Wesley Owen Rhys
Nicholas Wolfgang
Richard Arthur Hugh
Finn Gabriel
Donovan Leo
Dominic Edmund
Malcolm Elliott
Isaac Evander
Kieran Matthew
Asa Raphael
&
Sabrina Lily
Lauriana Celeste
Mary Emma Charlotte
Miranda Violet
Josephine Alice
Julia Seraphine
Zoe Anastasia
Verina Florence
Eden Alexandra
Francesca Rosalie
