I think it's too short and modern to be used as a standalone name. At least Mia is established enough.

It looks as if it should be short for something - no doubt Gianna. OK, just, if one has Italian connections, but otherwise not.
ETA there are so many versions of Jane to choose from: this one would be down near the bottom of my very long list.

I like Mia but there's something annoying and nasally about Gia. Gigi is a cute nickname though.

Not a fan, sorry. I don’t love short names that sound like nicknames.
