Alec vs Abel - Alec; Abel is too tied to the Biblical character
Calvin vs Simon – Simon, but prefer Kelvin to both
Bennett vs Everett – Bennett, but kind of like both
Dean vs Reid – Reid (though I prefer it spelled Reed)
Otto vs Oscar – Oscar, I prefer both the sound and the look to Otto
Lyle vs Lowell – Lowell, I once knew one and he made me like the name
Conrad vs Dawson - Conrad, but not a fan of either
Harvey vs Jonah - Jonah; like both but Jonah is friendlier
Penn vs Ferris – Penn because it reminds me of Pennsylvania; prefer it as a MN, though
Arthur vs Ambrose – Arthur, one of my steadiest favorite names
Spencer vs Malcolm - Malcolm; Spencer sounds a bit prissy
Claudia vs Ramona – Claudia (both are pretty)
Scarlett vs Violet – Scarlett, sounds more nature IMO
Molly vs Polly – Molly, sounds more timeless and is growing on me
Sylvia vs Vivian – ooh, hard choice, love both! I'd say Vivian because it's close enough to my top 5 name, Vivienne
Pearl vs Petra – Petra! It's so underused in English-speaking context
Ophelia vs Ottilia – Ophelia, don't like Ottilia (prefer Odilia)
Willa vs Wendy – Wendy: Willa feels like a nickname
Charlotte vs Cecilia – Charlotte, but Cecily would beat both
Fiona vs Sophia – like both, Fiona is fresher and less overused
Lorelei vs Luella – Lorelei; Luella feels redneck in a way I don't like
Matilda vs Eloise - Matilda, it's a long-time favorite, and I dislike the pronunciation of Eloise
