We recently had a post about what vintage names we would NOT like to see make a comeback.
How about some we would like to see? Matthew

I know a 2yo called Rita!
I love Louisa. I had a girl named Louisa in my class a couple years ago.
I think they’re retro for a reason. You’d have to be backward-thinking to want to use them. In my opinion, It is also inconsiderate of a child’s well-being to use a misfit name that is no longer loved. Unusual is one thing; worn-out is another.

Not always. There are names that were popular back in my great grandparents days that had fallen out of fashion and are now popular again or becoming more popular. Amelia
Evelyn
Isabel
Mary

Matthew, Daniel and Sarah are still kinda popular (they're all in the US Top 100) so I wouldn't consider them vintage or old-fashioned.I agree with you on Katherine – it used to be such a classic but now it's losing popularity. I like Katherine and Kate very much.Other names I'd like to see come back:Martin
Gilbert
Stanley
TerrenceCynthia
Deborah
Theresa
Colleen
Marcia
Jeannette
Jeannine
Pardon me while I crumble into the dust of senior citizenry when someone says Amanda, Kevin and Lindsey are "vintage".These names are vintage to me and I think they would be cute revivals:Nancy
Helene (specifically the American pronunciation, which is like "hel-EEN")
Judith and Judy
Francine
Laurie (I saw this on a baby in a recent movie and it was surprisingly nice)
Constance
Lee
Roberta and BobbieKenneth
Norman
Howard
Barry
Warren
Lewis
Ida
Greta
Stanley
Henrietta
Cynthia Likely more that I can't think of atm.
Henrietta is highly underrated.
I do agree and I think it sounds a lot nicer than Harriett/Harriette.
