Re: This or That – Old-fashioned vs Modern

Definitely Archer. Archibald sounds like a stuffed shirt middle aged lawyer or accountant.
I’m not a fan of either name. If I had to use one I’d go with Aaliyah but spell it Aliya.
Juniper. Jennifer is a bit dated to the 80s. And I love June as a nickname.
I don’t like either name at all. I’d go with Sierra instead.
Kai. Kirk reminds me of Captain Kirk. It’s not a bad association but reserved for the Star Trek character.
Ivy. It’s one of the prettiest plant/flower names.
Eden. It’s rather unusual but I like the sound.
Definitely Ryker. I have always disliked Roger.
I don’t like either. If I had to choose I’d go with Curtis but that’s with a gun pointed at me.
Not sure here. Neither name is bad but I don’t love them either. Probably Shayla though.
Millicent. If only because I love the nickname Millie or Milly.
Hate both Roy and Rex so neither. I go with Rhett.
I’d choose Arlo over Earl.
Everly 100%. I like this spelling but not Everleigh or Everlee.
I don’t like Anselm or Axel. If I had to pick I’d go with Axel.
I’ve recently grown to like Harlow a lot. So Harlow.
Navy. It’s pretty and rather unique. Nellie is bland to me.
