It could be a family surname, but it could be a hipie-type word name or an Indian or faux-Indian nature name.
I don't think Sibyl and Bonnie go together at all. I'd expect a Bonnie to have a sister named Debbie or Linda or Susan or Carolyn (I know a youngish Bonnie who does have a sister named Carolyn.) I'd expect a Sibyl to have a sister named something like Daphne or Ramona or Lucia.
