Alice
I’ve always loved the name Alice because of the band Alice In Chains. What do you think of Alice?

I've always liked Alice, it's rarely seen in my area of the world; it's very "British". It's a lovely pale blue colour to my mind - Alice Blue, I suppose, though more from the Disney cartoon character than Roosevelt's daughter. I associate it with storybooks and a sort of Beatrix Potter aesthetic, so it's a little precious.
I've done a 180 on Alice, I think it's really lovely now.
I love both Alice and Alison - those spellings only. Could never use Alison - DH had a mentally challenged step-aunt who lived with them for years and was very trying - but Alice would have been seriously considered, given enough daughters. I was at school with three cousins, all named Alice Marsephine for the same family reason: one went by Marsey. The other two, who had the same surname, didn't like the idea of having a name twin, so one of them went by Alice and the other did a merger and became Arline.
Alice is lovely
I like the name Alice. It is timeless and has a smooth, pleasant, and firm sound. The name first makes me think of Alice in Wonderland, and then the alias "Alice White" used by Parker in the show Leverage.
I think Alice is kind of boring.
I love both AiC and Alice! I had a student whose first and middle name was Layne Staley and I wondered how many people would know that the child was named after the lead singer of AiC.
