Re: What are your favorite long and uncommon/rare names?
in reply to a message by (Is-rah-el) Israelle
I suppose it's a question of culture and perspective. What someone considers uncommon or rare depends on a lot of stuff. For example, some of the names on your list sound quite common in my language (Anne-Marie, Frederique or Clémence come to mind).
But from my perspective, here is a list of some longer and rarer names I like:
F:
Angélique
Angharad
Arthémise
Athénaïs
Cassiopée
Cheyenne
Clémentine
Elisapie
Emmanuelle
Emmeline
Evangeline
Hosanna
Iphigénie
Guenièvre
Gwenaëlle
Hortense
Ludivine
Marceline
Maristella
Marjolaine
Mélisande
Philomène
Prudence
Zénaïde
Zénobie
M:
Archibald
Athanase
Atticus
Camillien
Maximilien
Nathanaël
Stanislas
Sylvester
Théodoric
Théophile
