Unique name I found in Indonesia
Ah, I just joince few week or month ago, and I'm not a native English.. so you expected to see some bizarre spelling of the English word. So, I live in Indonesia. And if you a traveler, you already know that it famous for the Bali tourism. But aside from that, Indonesia people has the most unique or maybe the most creative people to name a child
The reason ? In north Sumatra region for example, has a name that i found really unique. Some of the examples isSetulus (mean Sincerely)
Men Derita (the parent is diabolical because in Indonesia meaning suffering)
Martua (Meaning "Having a happy life)
Tangkas Manimpan (Tangkas mean agile and Manimpan is still unclear because I don't speak the native language, but I think it related to Manumpan that in Batak mean Building something while following the tradition)
Meyta (my friend name that her parents name it from her month where she's born is may)
Hamonangan (Mean a winner in Batak)
Hogu (I proud that my parents name it that, Maybe you guys think it's backwards Hugo but actually a different meaning in my dad language, meaning a peakor something that's the top of something)
Bible (Yes, that's my classmates name)
Owner Two Boy (Also yes, that's my sister classmates name)
And finally, what I think someone with the best name
Janos (I love someone name that end with S, as I think of Roman empire)So,from that list of examples, what do you think ( I just deleted my messages Threetimes because it's my first time using the message board)

Halo sesama orang Indonesia :")My personal take on the names:
– Setulus: Sounds like a Nias name.
– Men Derita: 😭😭😭 God bless the name bearer.
– Martua: Reminds me of the song Mardua Holong.
– Tangkas Manimpan: Sounds traditional, I like it.
– Meyta: Old-fashioned in my region (North Sulawesi)
– Hamonangan: Too long for my liking.
– Hogu: Meh.
– Bible: I know someone with this mame too, but too wordish to my liking.
– Owner Two Boy: ...
– Janos: I'd prefer Jan.
Martha and Meyta are nice, Janos is ok too
I like Meyta, it’s beautiful!
They are very interesting, thank you for sharing and writing meanings. My favourites are Martua and Hogu.
I'm gonna search videos on youtube about Indonesia now, because I haven't watched travel vlogs/history videos in a while and I don't know much about this place.
