Sherry

I think -erry/-arry name trend is dead and not coming back.
It has a friendly sort of sound. If Brandy makes a comeback, Sherry might not be far behind. I think I'm too old to really appreciate it though, because it was a fairly common name when I was growing up, so it's overly familiar to me - very boring.
I don't know if I prefer it, but I am most used to the spelling Shari, because that's how most of the girls I knew spelled it. Sherry looks too wordy to me. Sherri is kinda fun.

I prefer the spellings Sherry and Sherri. Not a fun of the name though, don't think it'll make a comeback but it's still a name that gets used every now and then.
I think its moment has passed. Sherry, like Brandi, was used in the hip and flamboyant 60s and then abruptly vanished. I'd be surprised to see it make a come-back: the giggly rebelliousness that must have been such fun at the time is a thing of the past.
I don't like any of the spellings listed. I don't like the name at all.

Offhand, I'd say that Sherry predated Brandy by a few decades. Brandy was very much a seventies and eighties favorite. I'm thinking Sherry probably came out of Sharon more than the drink, and in any case, sherry is not really the kind of drink you'd associate with rebellion or hippies ... more like Grandma's bridge club.
I like Sherry. I don't know if it will make a comeback though.
My aunt is named Shari Lynne. I always thought that spelling was the prettiest, though it's not as common as Sherry. I think it's a very pretty name but I don't see it making a comeback anytime soon. It was already falling fast when I came along.
I don't like it at all
