It sounds old, but I don't think any name is too old for modern use, especially since it's a trend to bring back old names. I don't get why it would be a POC-only name.

I don't mind Alfonso.

Alphonsa is pretty. I don't like Alphonsine.

It would be if I had heard of "aphonia," but I haven't. I'm guessing most people won't have heard of it either.

Second question in second point was because on those ancestry sites, obituaries and two social media accounts it seemed like it's most people are people of color... now
