Laurence or Lawrence?
This is a rather simple question, which spelling of Laurence do you prefer?

Laurence is the traditional way of spelling the name.
Laurence. The 'w' makes it look a little harsh to me.
I prefer Laurence: closer to the Latin and to Laura, which I love. But, Lawrence is a family surname so if I ever used it, mn only, I'd go for that spelling.
Laurence! Lawrence looks more awkward to me.
Laurence is closest to the original Laurentius so I prefer this spelling.
The "w" spelling seems like a poor imitation to me.

Laurence.
It's one of my son's middle names.

Lawrence
I am biased as I have a cousin named Lawrence. For some reason the W looks more masculine to me.

Lawrence, it’s in my top five!
I prefer Laurence because it’s softer and the tie to “laurel” is more visible. Plus, Laurie is adorable.
Laurence, I think.
