Re: Fleurent
Looks like a French verb, « ils fleurent ».“Someone once said that it wasn’t so hard to do right; what was hard was to know what was right to do.” William X. Kienzle

"Fleurent" is actually a French verb, from fleurer, meaning "to exude, to smell of; to herald; to flour". As a French student I now can't unsee it.
Goog translates that. Says it's a literary usage that means "they (give off a pleasant flowery) smell"I think in English it just sounds like the word fluent, but with a stumble.
