Alexia
While watching The Price is Right this morning, there was a contestant named, Alexia. I sort of like it, but what are your thoughts on it? 🤷‍♀️What about other similar names?🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷❇️🌷In-Collage-20240927-181127773

I might like Alexa better than Alexia, not sure. Both of them are pretty, but not to my taste. I think the simplicity of Alex is better. Lexie sounds kind of childish to me, but it's logical as a nickname. I think Lex is cooler, though.

I know a really nice woman (Greek mother) named Alexia so I’m prejudiced. I think it’s also the name of a Dutch princess so it has royal roots as well. I think the name Alexia is a perfect mix of feminine and strong.
It's okay. Nothing I'd personally use but there's nothing wrong with it. A bit spunky and I can see someone with a bit of attitude with the name. I've only met one, a child.
It is a medical condition. Still sounds pretty though.Alexia: Loss of the ability to read or understand the written word, due either to brain damage that disconnects these functions or to temporary dysfunction caused by abnormal electrical or chemical activity in the brain.
I've just learnt this is also a medical condition. Still, I've always liked the name since I had first encountered it, it's pretty and modern without being exaggerated.
I much prefer Alexa; that extra -i- does nothing useful and causes pronunciation problems. OK, if Alexandra gives us Alexa, then Alexandria would quite naturally give us Alexia, but I don't enjoy geographical names.ETA, your cats are adorable!

I like it, but I like Alessia better
Don't like it, prefer Alexa or Alexis
I despise it! It’s a medical condition.
I sounds nice but I don't like how it would mean "can't read".
I loveee Alexia! Way better than Alexis. I prefer Alexandra, though.
it's okay, but I much prefer Alexis. Alexia doesn't slide off the tongue quite as easily.
