Re: Names from a comments section
I like:
William, Alexander, James, Theia, Evander, Diana, Kiera, Poppy, Emilia, Juniper, Raphael, Owen, Philippe, Phoebe, Layla, MichaelEasy to spell, or at least not hard to spell if you're familiar with the name:
Noah, William, Eric, Belle, Michael, Brady, Jacob, Paige, Cassidy, Maxwell, Chris, Zuko, Arabella, Mavis, Alexander, Savannah, Josephine, Giovanni, Aizen, Phoebe, James, Evander, Diana, Indica, Lincoln, Poppy, Sophia, Olivia, Emilia, Juniper, Atlas, Owen, Not hard but easy to confuse:
Layla (Leila, Leyla), Emmie (Emmy), Kiera (Kira, Keira), Theia (Thea), Sofiya (confusing with Sofia and Sophia), Giuliana (Juliana), Raphael (Rafael), Alexi (Alexei), Chloé (Chloe), Philippe (Filip, Felipe)Actually hard to spell:
Ebeneser
Timeliness:
Noah, Belle - classic but feel trendy right now
Juniper - I love it but I think it's going through a trend now
Josephine, Giuliana, Giovanni, Maxwell, Arabella, Phoebe, Philippe, Theia, Evander, Sofiya, Poppy, Chloé, Emilia, Raphael, Owen - seem fairly timeless to me
Eric, Diana - sound a bit older but not in a bad way
Mavis - grandma
Ebeneser, Zuko, Aizen, Atlas - too "character"
Paige, Brady, Cassidy - already dated
Waylon - sounds dumb now and will still sound dumb in 15 years
William, Michael, Jacob, Chris, James, Alexander, Sophia, Olivia - truly timeless and common
Savannah, Layla, Kiera - maybe a bit dated but not much
Indica - sounds fine but don't name your kid after weed
Lincoln - not very namey
Emmie - just nicknamey
Alexi - depends on the gender. On a girl it's a bit trendy/dated
So these are the ones I like that I think are the most timeless and easy to spell:
William, Alexander, James, Evander, Owen, Emilia, Diana (maybe)
note-- I don't really know if Giuliana and Giovanni are dated or not, they're not really used where I live so I just went with my impression
