Horace's Return?
Should we bring Horace back?

This was my great grandfather's name. He had a sad life story, so I associate Horace with tragedy. I'd be pretty thrilled to meet a baby named Horace though. That would be neat.
Oh, no.
I also prefer the jaunty Horatio but I think the world needs more Horaces to be the adults in the room.
Why not? I like old-fashioned names, although I do prefer Horatio.
Sure! It's a stately old name. I do prefer Horatio, but I'd be delighted if I met a young Horace.
I guess if we don't mind all the horse and hoarse and whores jokes ...
I like it, but Horatio would be more usable nowadays. Horace sounds dated.
I think its a little harsh but I don't hate it. Maybe idk
More likely Horus, I think.
I don't like either name though.
Kinda makes me think of "horrors."
Horatio is not as bad, more usable than Horace.
It's the stress on the first syllable that really puts me off - horrors! Horatius is better but unlikely. Better still would be Horatio, fascinating man and great sailor, but I rather think I'd lose my nerve and make it a middle name.
I think it sounds unattractive. If I could pick any older male names to come back I would say Archibald, Arnold and Benedict.
I don't think so. Not a fan.
