Re: My Girls Short List from High School - plus Misc. Others found
Lavinia Allison - Allison doesn't work at all with Lavinia, but Alice would. I'd also want to make it Alice Lavinia.
Evangeline Violet - Violet Evangeline would be better; Evangeline is long for a first name and for some reason when it's Evangeline Violet it feels like too many V's, but Violet Evangeline sounds fine.
Victoria Grace - Good, but probably very popular.
Cynthia Judith - Cynthia is such a boomer name! So is Judith but I like Judith anyway. Way too many hissy sounds in this combo though.
Amoria Rue - It's nice, I like Rue as a middle name. Amoria Rue sounds very "fictional character". I'd almost prefer Amaria Rue even though I like the "mor" sound.
Patricia Lanay "Pattie" - Not my thing, and I'd prefer Patty or Patti over Pattie.
Analisa Marie "Lisa" - This is good although middle name Marie is so overdone even non-namenerds joke about it. I'd also prefer Annalisa.
Chrysanthemum Grace "Chris-Ann" - Chrysanthemum is such a GP, this would be the way to do it though (put it with a one-syllable, common, manageable middle name). I think the nickname is too contrived. Chrysan makes more sense as a spelling, or even Chrysanne. But in reality someone called Chrysanthemum is likely to become Chrys, Chris, Chrysi, Chrissy, or maybe Anthy / Anthie.
Ariel Faith - These names don't go together for me but they don't really clash either. This combo seems like it would be fairly popular.
Paulina Faith - This works a lot better! I like this one, I wouldn't use either name but it's a good combo.
Elisabeth Cate - It's good and I like the look, these spellings give the combo a very soft and vintage look, but it would be annoying to have this name. "Elisabeth Cate". "Elizabeth Kate?" "No, Elisabeth with an S and Cate with a C." I know people don't usually use their middle names that way, but I can still imagine situations where you'd have to explain that neither your first name OR your middle name is spelled the way people expect.
Jewel Renee - Sounds better than it looks. I do like Jewel.
Gracelynn Marie Kate - This is like four common filler middle names put together into one combo.
Tyler-Anne - Nope, totally opposite names.
Lilica Jane - I like this
Lara Grace - Good
Chloe Noelle - No, two "oe"s in a row is too much
Sonia Noelle - Not quite. I like Sonia though. Sonia Grace would work.
Heather Gwen - Feels very Gen X but I kinda like it.
Hillary Blair - Nope nope nope
Edward John - Okay, feels like a very proper name. He's either a proper kind of person or he uses a nickname and everyone is surprised when they find out his full name.
August Mark - I would have expected Mark August for some reason but I like it this way too.
Vincent Luke - I like this although I think Luc fits better with Vincent.
Job Joshua Elliot "Jobey" - I only like Elliot here. Jobey sounds like a dog
Soren Josiah - Alright, I think I'd prefer Josiah Elliot and Soren August (or Soren Isaiah to keep the "--ah" thing)
Leslie Michelle - Nah. Leslie would be Michelle's mom.
Gwenevere Einin - I like this but I've never heard of Einin
Superhero Siblings Audrick, Quilla and Rembrano - definitely sound like characters. If they're always listed in that order I don't like the double K sound between Audrick and Quilla.
