Nedelya means "Sunday" in Bulgarian (and "week" in Russian, for what it's worth)—I lived in Bulgaria for a year after college, and although I didn't meet any women named Nedelya, I did visit Saint Nedelya Cathedral in Sofia a few times and am enchanted by the name. I also find temporal names quite romantic. What do you think? Ned/Neddie, Nell/Nellie, and Del could be cute nicknames.
