Marvelous/Marvellous is what I would put in The Ridiculous category. Not sure about Modi, surely there are much better M names out there. As for the game:

I like the first four (Victoria, Andrew, Adam, Mara), but then they had an abrupt change in style with Dash, which makes me think of the "Incredibles." Marvellous, Delilah, and Modi are the worst and along with Martalya sound random.Vivien

Two boys beginning with D - David and, er, Derek?Two boys beginning with A - Adrian and AlastairTwo boys beginning with M - Martin and MichaelDash, nn for one of Santa's reindeer? Darla is (a) dreadful and (b) rhymes with Mara, which isn't very good itself. Marvellous and Modi are as close as names can get to child abuse. How to pronounce Martalya - marTALya or MARtaLEEa? Not good either way and too close to Mara. The first four names and the last three are pretty well OK, but the middle ones do their owners no favours.

Marvellous and Martalya are interesting. Modi is strange. I like Delilah. I prefer Dash on a boy (short for Dashiell). The rest are fine but not my style.My dozen (would never though):
