Dolores
Family name. What do you think of Dolores? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Love Dolores
Can’t get past the depressing meaning.
I love Marian names, but I'm not crazy about Dolores since here it was so overused in the past that it has lost its spark, but I also think it's bearable today in a clumsy, vintage way. In fact, it's still being used today but as Lola.
Sorry don't like it at all
It isn’t my favorite, but it is also a family name. My great grandmother Dolores died when I was nine. I didn’t know her very well, but I still miss her.
I love Dolores and echo Chloë's praise! Jeremy Allen White has daughters named Ezer (weirdly) and Dolores.
I think of Encanto whenever I hear it.
I flippin love Dolores. It's vintage, it's got that somber, dark glamour I love while also feeling familiar and homey, it's got fabulous nickname options to match any style, and it has an incredibly hard core goth meaning. It's like the perfect name. I would absolutely use it on anyone or anything. It's so versatile. The only thing I don't like is that without fail I spell it Delores, but that's a me-problem.
Since it's a family name for you, I would use it in the middle spot. I think it would be an unexpected surprise with a spunky first name.Examples:Ivy Dolores
Ruby Dolores
Nina Dolores
It's not going to be used. I just wanted to know what people thought of it.
Omg Ivy Dolores is incredibly beautiful. Ruby Dolores is inspired!
Even if I didn't know it meant sorrow and didn't know the world dolorous, this name would still feel heavy and sour to me. Like Lois.
