Found a kitten!

How is the kitten doing? Keep us updated. it would be cool if you could post a photo.
Please take him to the vet. Some people might also be looking for him, so I'd phone the animal shelters and vets nearby to ask if he has been reported missing. It's possible that he is a stray, but it's also possible that he is very much missed and losing a beloved pet must be heartbreaking. So before I'd be thinking about names, I'd make sure he's not someone's beloved pet. He might wear a chip so I'd get that checked out at the vet's.
I know you mean well, but it's always horrifying to me, when someone finds a pet and just chooses a new name and decided to keep him without even wondering if he might already have a family. I think everyone who has a pet can understand this feeling. They are family members. I think in this case it's not very likely, but I still think that you should check and most countries have laws about this as well, so you cannot just keep a pet you've found, but need to make sure it doesn't have an owner first.
2,5 months is also extremely young, so if he wandered off and doesn't belong to anybody, his siblings might be around too and need help, so I'd be looking out for them as well.
Sorry, I don't mean to spoil your happiness or anything and if he has no family, then I hope you'll keep him and you'll have a lovely life together, but I just think these things need to be checked out first, no matter how unlikely.

I appreciate what you're saying, but you don't understand all the circumstances.
There are a lot of stray cats. It's not a suburban neighborhood.
I already have 4 dogs, so there is large chance we will not be able to keep the kitten even if we wanted to.
Also, I can name the cat whatever I want to name it for the time I have it.
We saved its life.

I want to keep the kitten, but we have to see how all the pets get along! Our Schnauzer is not happy!
The kitten has adult green-colored eyes, so it's definitely more than 2 months old. It's eating solid kitten food, drinking milk, had a bit of tuna and egg so far.
Percy is my favorite too :) And, he looks at me when I say that name more than the others.

Oh that's so cool! Percy is great!
I'd keep it if it was me!
Roy is such a great name for a cat. I love random ordinary people names on pets. Sebastian is good too, very fancy.

I don't like Roy but Seb would be cute or Sebas
I've never been magically chosen by a cat and am always so jealous of people who are. I had to go searching for a cat like a chump, the universe didn't go 'have a cat!'... so I'm very envious and very much on the side of keep the cat, if get you along with the cat, and can realistically care for him and are in a place in your life where you can have him of course.
Sebastian on a cat is quite sweet. Seb is quite a cool nickname, fitting for a cat, quite chill, but also quite sweet.
I don't like Roy that much.

This is the second time I've been "chosen" by an animal. The first time was February of last year when a Pyrenees puppy came to our house. Long story, but he's still here!
The reason we might not keep the cat is because we have 4 dogs. This kitten will have to be a chiller and get along with everyone to stay. It's young, so there's hope!
Incidentally, it was that same Pyr who found the kitten last night. The kitten was covered in mud. Our dog rolled around next to the kitten, protected it, and barked like a maniac until we came out to see what the commotion was!
It's been a weird few years.

Also, I do think it's wild.
A few months ago, a cat wandered into the back untamed area of my neighbor's yard, and it looked tired, and hungry, so I left food and water. I'm wondering now if that cat was pregnant, because this kitten is the right age.
