HelpCallan/Caolan and Maren/Martha
Thinking of name ideas and we seem to be picking a lot that are similar to our nephew/niece’s names!
Do these seem too similar for cousins?
- Caolan (KAY-lan or KAY-lawn) and Callan (KAL-lan)
- Martha and Maren, not American so we would pronounce the first syllable of these names the same (MAR-tha and MAR-en, ie not MAYR-en or similar)

Callan and Caolan are way too close, it would be so confusing. Martha and Maren are fine though. I do love the name Martha.
Too similar.
My daughter is Miriam and my niece is Mira. I didn't think the names were too similar until the girls were together. It's a constant mix-up of the names.

The names are similar, but i wouldn't worry about that for cousins

Caolan and Callan are definitely too close, yeah. Maren and Martha aren't, though. I love Martha!
