Liana definitely doesn't mean "youth" in Latin, sorry. Is your reasoning that Liana is a truncation of Juliana, whose origin is the word for young?
Also, I said I find Liana complete; I didn't declare it is complete.
Finally, citing Aelianus as an origin justifies my claim that Liana seems incomplete, since Eliana would be the full form (derived from Aelianus).
