Thoughts on these names?

Replies

Positive feelings towards both names. I really like Lydia, love Nina.
I prefer Lydia to Nina. I know a few women whose grandchildren call them Nina so the name makes me think of grandmothers.
Nina is ok, but I absolute love Lydia for obvious reasons. It's my #1 girl's name. I find it completely gorgeous in both sound and appearance. Very melodic as well. It's a shame it isn't heard of often.
I live both! I've never thought of them together before but now I also think they would make a cute sibset
I really like both. I love Nina, I think it's sparky, and Lydia is very likeable.
I like Lydia, Nina is okay
I enjoy Lydia but not Nina.
Lydia is a timeless, gorgeous beauty that you could never go wrong with; it's one of my very favorites. I also love the name Nina as well (and feel the same way about it), even if I prefer Lydia.
I love Lydia. Nina is sweet but Nms.
Lydia seems overdone somehow. More complicated than it needs to be. I actually prefer Linda.
Nina is quite nice. Perhaps better as a nn? Though one of my earliest naming memories is that I thought that Nancy and Nina would be excellent names for twins! Oh well, I still like both names, but separately.
I LOVE Lydia! Personally, I find Nina unattractive, but I like Lena.
I've always found Lydia to be pretty and charming. I've never been a fan of Nina, however
Lovely
I like Nina. I'm not a fan of Lydia after watching Aunt Lydia on The Handmaid's Tale. Another fictional character who further turns me off the name is the foolish and impulsive Lydia Bennet in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
Don’t like Nina. Love Lydia much better. Old fashioned yet cute sounding.
