Lola
WDYT of Lola?

Replies

It’s such a cute name and I want to like it but I can’t help thinking about “Her name was Lola. She was a showgirl.” and “Whatever Lola wants—Lola gets” image.
I like it, though I find it a bit cutesy
I think Lola is sweet, as nickname and as a first name.
I have two associations with Lola, both of them very good.First, a friend's family dog was named Lola. She was given to Friend's mother for Christmas, and because she was a black spaniel with long ears, she made her new owner think of a Spanish dancer. Hence, Lola! She was a dear little dog.
And second, what else but the Kinks and their wonderful song about a sweet transvestite named Lola, who walked like a woman and talked like a man.Neither would make me choose Lola for a female human baby, but I do enjoy them.
Don't like it at all
Love the name but rhymes with ebola
Very much dislike Lola. The sound and spelling are nice, but it gives off very spoiled vibes to me. I think I'd like it more if I ever met someone (specifically a good influence) with the name.
Love love LOVE Lola. One of my absolute favorite girls names. An association I have is actress/singer Lola Albright, who played Edie Hart in the 1958 noir detective TV series Peter Gunn. It’s a short and sweet name!
I like Lola, but it will always make me think of the song by the Kinks.
I like it. I used to find it a little try-hard, but then I got some more perspective.
Hate Lola. It sounds childish to me and doesn’t have a pleasant sound.
