Alina
Do you like it? Hate it? I saw someone say it reminded them of the show Dance Moms, and now I'm not sure if I like it as much :/

I agree with New_Chloë and Wordsmith. It is pretty, but so inoffensive. I almost feel like there has to be a tiny thing about a name that I don’t like for me to like it. I prefer Elena.
I agree with Chloë's assessment! The name feels and sounds like nothing to me.
I've never seen Dance Moms and am unaware of the association.

I have never seen that show, so it doesn't make me think of that!
Alina is one of those names that is eerily soulless to me. Not in a malevolent way - just like, in an empty way. It's designed to be inoffensive, i can't hate it; it's even aesthetically pleasing. I can't say it's boring. It just has no.... It's like one of those mannequins that have no face. It's the name equivalent of the International Style of architecture. It's fashionable and sleek and inhuman. A few names give me that feeling, it's kind of fun how creepy they are.
Alina is creepy. I kinda like it.

It's a bit boring to me, although it ends in a favorite letter of mine, 'a', when it comes to girls names.
Ok, overall, though.

I find it very bland and not at all interesting or worth using.
It's alright, but I find it boring.
Don't really like it
I find it stunning and I very much associate it with the character of Alina Starkov from the book series, Shadow & Bone where I first discovered the name. 🙂
I think Alina is pretty and a great alternative to more popular names like Eliana, Elena and even Athena which were all in the top 100 in the US last year. Alina is at No# 150.
I prefer Elina, but both are pretty. I've known a couple German/Austrian online friends named Alina.
It's the name of my neighbor's little daughter, so I'm inclined to like it!
Her parents are, respectively, from an Asian country and an Eastern European country.
It's nice. Maybe will be a tad forgettable, among a zillion names that start and end with vowels ... Elena, Eliana, Alana, Alia, Anaya
But I think it's difficult for no one.

I love it- but it makes me think of the heroine from Shadow and Bone :)
I don't really have any strong feelings toward it.
