Re: Names you think will make the biggest rise and drops in popularity this year in the US
Rise:
Elliott - It’s a soft, handsome name with unisex appeal.
Genevieve - It’s elegant and fits so many current trends: long names, names with V sound, vintage names, etc.
Matilda - It’s a vintage and UK name that’s bound to have people attracted to it.
Seraphina - No reason other than it’s pretty and has a lot of room to rise.
Viola - It’s a beautiful vintage name that’s yet to come back. It’s a good choice for people who like the sound of Violet but think it’s too popular.
Fall:
Abigail - I feel like Abbys were oversaturated.
Ember - It’s just feels like it was a fad that doesn’t have staying power. Plus, some will opt to use Emberly or Emberlynn.
Jeffrey - It’s not a trendy sound anymore, and there’s a few bad Jeffreys who are associated with the name now.
Lainey - It made too big of a jump and is bound to fall from it. It doesn’t have staying power.
Mary - People are bored of it, and atheism is rising.
