Sherry?
What do you think

Fun!
I like it
I know someone with the name and they hate it...
I love Sherry!
I knew a really fun, cute woman named Sherry (it might've been spelled Sherri, but I always pictured Sherry), and she made me see its potential.
To me it's not really an alcohol name at all, just like Ash doesn't mean ashes. It's just a name based on a popular sound (Cheryl, Sharon) and nicknames for those names. It's Shari and Cheri, they're all the same name to me, sorta like Kerri / Kerry / Keri / Kari are all basically the same name as Carrie, to me. I just think the spelling Sherry is the cutest, warmest, and least 70s-styled.
It's dated, but to me not as dated as Cheryl and Sharon seem.

I find it unpleasant. I had a colleague whose daughter met her partner while working as a barmaid. Her favourite drink was sherry, and his was Amstel beer. They had a daughter who had three names: a harmless fn, followed by Sherry Amstella.
In my opinion, most things would be better than Sherry. Cheryl is OK, I've got a Cheryl cousin, but I'd prefer Shirley.

Honestly, I think Cheryl is a pretty alternative
My grandma's name. She and two other sisters were all named after alcohol LOL except for the youngest sister who was weirdly named Donna? Perhaps they ran out of alcoholic names they liked. My grandma has never particularly liked Sherry as a name. I remember once when I was a little girl I think she described it simply as "blah, neither here nor there" or something similar. I'll have to remember to ask her again while she still with us. I don't really like the alcoholic connection personally, I think Brandy is The Only Name that I think is commonplace enough where it can get away with that connection because of its broader use. I really love my grandma, I would consider honoring her with it as a middle name but Only if it was altered to Sherilyn or similar.

It's interesting, somewhat pretty, I get a 70s vibe from it, although I like Cherry better.
Awful, especially with this spelling. Sheri, Cherie, or Shari would be better.
Don't like it at all
I want to like it, but I really dislike it.
