I named a little black rescue cat Dinah, because we already had a cat named Alice. We all came to like the name a lot: there was also a 19th-century human Aunt Dinah whom I know nothing about. I'd like it for a human.
Daphne sounds better than Delilah, which I really don't enjoy. Daphne ... wouldn't it shorten to Daffy? I don't think I'd risk it.Dinah Suzanne
