Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively's kids
UPDATE!!!
Olin Reynolds is a boy!
So Ryan Reynolds, during a press moment for Deadpool and Wolverine just let slip his fourth child's name. Gender is unknown at this time.
He and Blake Lively have three daughters: James, Inez, and Betty. New baby is named Olin.

Personally, I find how each of the kid's names are unique without being out there. It's a quite eceltic collection but at the same time it seemingly flows together as siblings. I think I read somewhere they had picked James's name because of tradition on Blake's side that the first born daughter has a traditionally masculine name as a first name.

UPDATE!!!
Olin is a boy.
Olin is a boy.
Inez is the only one I like
Inez and Betty are kind of cute and vintage, though not personally really my taste. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I don't hate James on a girl. It's a little odd, and very obviously a boy's name, but I think it could work. Olin is okay. It sounds very normal, and it doesn't really stick out to me, but I don't hate it. I have no strong opinions on it.
Love them both, but their taste in names sucks.
How far did that "first daughter gets a masculine name" go back, anyway, or is Blake the start of it?
Because James on a girl is stupid. It's not a unisex name. Period.
Inez and Betty sound like sisters ... sisters in their eighties.
Olin sounds like an old man in his eighties.

Or justifying James on a girl to themselves. Which, if you feel you have to do that, maybe you ought to rethink it entirely? lol
I'd never consider Mattie a unisex name. I've known a ton of Matthews, but none of them went by Mattie; they were all Matt.
Even Willie was popular on girls back a hundred or eighty years ago.

A real hodge podge of different styles. I prefer siblings to have some cohesion to their names. These names sound like four sets of parents had a go at naming one child each.
James on a girl is a no no. I like the spelling Ines with an "s" rather than a "z". Betty is ok as a nickname for Elizabeth. I know Olin as a surname (Swedish actress Lena Olin).

I read on Reddit that apparently all the kid's names are taken from the grandparents' names somehow. Blake's Grandmother was named Willie Inez, and her grandfather was James Olin. (Ryan Reynolds' dad is also a James). I guess there must be a Betty or Elizabeth somewhere in there.
Interesting idea for a theme.
If I followed that pattern I'd just have Francis and Joan to work with - only 2 of my 4 grandparents had middle names, and my husband's didn't have any middles either!
Anyways I love Betty and Inez. Olin is ok, feels bang on in terms of trends though, so luckily grandpa had the right kind of name. James on a girl is pretty boring, although I admit that a subset of Jamie, Inez, Betty and Ollie is real cute.

Grandparents are a minefield. My grandmothers had mns and I have one of them: Florence Beatrice and Sarah Anne. My grandfathers were both Thomas. One had his mother's birth surname, Clowes, as his mn; the other was a singleton. Not much scope.
I don't particular care for Inez and Betty, but they work as a sibset. I enjoy Olin. James on a girl is a no from me. I don't even like it that much on boys.
I don't like any of the names. I only like James for a boy
Is Olin named after the actress Lena Olin?
I assume Betty is named after Betty White, so maybe there is a theme going on. 🤔
Personally, I like Inez and Betty. James for a girl isn't my cup of tea. Olin as a firstname is a bit weird, also because of the more classical names of the other siblings.

Can I dare say I would prefer George or Henri over James for a girl. At least someone might think their full name was Georgiana or Henrietta.
I absolutely hate James for a girl. I think it's just downright cruel to name a girl James.
Agree.
