HelpRe: Is Dora a bad name?

Considering how I grew up watching Dora the Explorer, it's the only thing I can think of when I hear the name Dora. I also think it's quite childish, and would struggle to suit an adult.

That's so interesting, I guess because I've only ever seen Dora the explorer once (like 17 years ago) I don't see how it's childish at all. Dora feels very matronly to me.
