What do you think of the name Claudia?
Do you like it? What kind of person do you imagine with this name?

Replies

I've always found it cold and unfriendly.
One of my favourites.
I adore Claudia, even though it has a strange meaning. I love the ancient greek vibes, I imagine a girl with brown hair who loves reading, drawing, and nature... maybe it's just sentimental reasoning but I really do adore her.
The name is fine, but not my style. I prefer Claudine. Whenever I see or hear the name Claudia I think of its meaning “lame”.
Claudia is all right; brisk and efficient. I wouldn't use it, because there are so many names I like better.
Claudia reminds me of clouds, sort of like misty and mystical stuff.
Not really my vibe, but I do picture a nice old lady on a Hawaiian vacation being named that. Overall has its own charm, and also reminds me of words like calm and cool.
I used to love it because of a book character I read when I was a child. That's still what I think of: shy, artistic, mathematically gifted, calm and collected, dark hair.
These days I like the "claw" sound less but I still like the name overall.
Claudia Kishi?
I don't like that it sounds like "claw" where I live.
I've met a couple Claudia's. They were both Hispanic with dark hair and tan skin, so that is what I picture. They were also intelligent and reserved.
I've been intrigued by it lately. I like it.
I think it's beautiful and classic. I imagine a person with this name to be really intelligent, a bit aloof - either due to shyness or for some other reason.
It's a very attractive name, but I wouldn't want it for myself or to use it for a daughter. It has a vibe that to me is somewhat cold and aloof.
I like Claudia.
Don't like it at all
The slightly spoiled but basically decent only daughter of a woman also named Claudia.
