I did immediately think, I hope this isn't some strange made-up version of Kyle, so I guess it's intuitive.
Don't like that spelling reminds me of the keel of a boat at first. I suppose the pronounciation is intuitive by why, you'd forever have to spell it
Knew of a guy called Kiel pronounced keel, and that's how I'd say this name, too, if not told otherwise.
I'd pronounce it KEEL. No fancy spelling is going to make Kyle cool I'm afraid.
I instinctively pronounced it kee-ELL. It's not a bad name, though. I could get used to it.

I think Kyle is a better spelling. I would have mispronounced this name.
