Fiona
I've been thinking of Fiona lately because I met a rare adult one in my region recently. A lady in her mid-late 30s. I know there has been at least one discussion of this before in times past, but what do you think of it? Is it too associated with the children's series Shrek for your region? Is it still usable? If not, what similar ones do you like that have a similar "vibe"?Please rate my "Names I would Use" list & "Backup Favorites" list. Feel free to rate some of my other lists too if you have the time.

Love Fiona. I wouldn't worry about Shrek.
Love the name. My husband vetoed because it made him think of Shrek. Other names I like that aren't common and also got vetoed are Emmeline, Genevieve, Elwyn. Maybe If our tastes are similar you may like one of those
I've long hated this name. I find the "eeee ohhhh na" SO grating. I don't think of Shrek at all, though I know the association.I love Oona/Una and Orla, which are similar in attitude.
I have always loved the name Fiona, ever since I first heard it on Shrek. As someone who grew up with Shrek being popular, I don't think it's too associated with Shrek! I know a couple who are my age, and they were never teased.
It's an underrated name. Pretty and unusual while also being deeply familiar. I've never met one. I don't think of Shrek, but I was an adult when the movies got big, so maybe that's why. I think it's useable! It's a very different sort of name, but Rowena has similar energy to me. It would be surprising to meet one, but it's also a name I recognize as a sort of forgotten treasure.
As an idea, I'm not a huge fan, but I think if I met someone with this name I would think it was very pretty. I have never seen Shrek, so I personally do not associate it with the movie very much.

Fiona used to be in my top 4. I wasn’t keeping a name list at the time, but I still remember the four names I liked. It steadily went down the list, but it remained on the list. I even considered it as the middle name for my #1 name, Scarlett. I eventually replaced Fiona with Leah. It remained on the list for a little while, until I realized people my age just think of Shrek. I still really like it.

I don’t think a Shrek association is bad. It’s a good movie, and she’s an iconic character.
I used to dislike it because of the association with the Shrek movies, but it has grown on me to the point I'd gladly use it in real life. It has a sleek sound, and I adore how it looks on paper. It's definitely usable, in fact, it was trendy in France, Germany and the Netherlands in the 90s and it's steady in Switzerland.
I like Fiona very much; I see her striding round a Scottish loch! Shrek was delightful but it's had its day; not an issue. I had neighbours as a child, not for very long, named Caroline and Fiona: I've always liked that as a sibset.
Love it, wouldn't worry about Shrek
Fiona is a very nice name, lavender and whispery. It's timeless and could be just as lovely on a little girl as an older woman. I didn't even think about the Shrek association, and it doesn't change my opinion.
Oh, you have synesthesia? Tell me what Grace Diana is your senses please 😄
"Grace" is a concept, so it comes across as more of a physical object than a solid color -- it "feels" warm and smooth. And Diana is a very bright blue with hints of ocean waves.
Lovely, thank you for sharing
There’s a girl at my school named Fiona. I think it’s pretty.
