Talked to my mom about metaphorical siblings names today
I was talking to my mom today about names, and she told me she had wished she had a 4th child after my younger sister if things had been different with her health. Here are me and my sisters' names as well as her present-day ideas what she would name a 4th born sibling. Her real children:
Christine Rebecca
Grace Diana
Anna (Additional names redacted) Hypothetical Present-Day Ideas for siblings #4 based on present day preferences:
Richard Mark - first boy choice idea
Samantha Isabella - first girl choice idea
Alfred
Lily
Isabella
James
Isaiah
Jennifer
Elijah
Emily "Emma"
Elizabeth What do you think of these ideas?
*Technically, there was another child in-between me and my older sister. There was a boy they were planning on naming Jesse that died in the 3rd trimester, but she rarely talks about it because it makes her upset. Please rate my "Names I would Use" list & "Backup Favorites" list. Feel free to rate some of my other lists too if you have the time.

I like Richard, and Mark is OK in the middle spot, out of sight.
Samantha Isabella: they do love -a endings!
Alfred would do quite nicely. I heartily dislike Lily, Lilith, Lilian ...
Isabel, fine. Isobel, better. Isabella: too much tinsel on the Xmas Tree.
James is still good, but getting tired.
Isaiah and Elijah don't fit into my personal head.
I love Jennifer and Emily; dislike Emma; and love Elizabeth as a mn.
I like all except AlfredJesse is a lovely name, which i would add to the real children list, with angel baby listed.

Samantha Isabella has the same problem that my given name has (Samantha Angela) - it's just very long and syllabic. That's not to say I don't love my given name, but it's just something to think about. I think it's gorgeous, though!Richard Mark sounds very old, like someone born in the 60s.I would be pleased to see a young Alfred, and I love the names Isaiah and Elijah as well.Elizabeth and James are boring, tired names with no personality.
