Gunnar is slightly better but not a huge fan. It sounds like a video game enemy type instead of a name.

I sure hope he's not Gunner Duggar, because that would be six kinds of dumb.
Gunner's a dumb name anyway. Gunnar is too but at least it's an actual name and would probably pass unnoticed in Scandinavia or Germany.
Gunner is a position on a fighter jet or tank.
In high school we had to read a poem called "The Ball Turret Gunner" told from the perspective of a guy in the little bubble-shaped attachment under a plane in WWII. It was the most miserable and dangerous position on a warplane, and the poem ends with the gunner saying "they washed me out of the turret with a hose."
So no, it's not a name I like. Kind of like naming someone Sniper or Shooter.

Is his last name Duggar? Gunner Duggar? Gunner is nms and paired with this surname it sounds very weird.
On the subject of the name, I don't care for it at all and find it very cheesy. On the subject of Joy-Anna's new baby, I wish the Forsyth family very well!!

I don't know what a Duggar baby is, and I hope I never find out. Totally inappropriate. Presumably they are the kind of Americans who believe in their constitutional right to have a gun and therefore become a gunner?
