One of my favourite flowers is Dahlia. They come in so many varieties and colours. Some are nature's perfection. Personally, I wouldn't choose Dahlia for a girl because of pronunciation issues. There are three ways to say the flower and I pronounce it "DAYL-yuh" which I believe is the British way. There is also "DAL-yuh" and "DAHL-yuh".

I wouldn't hesitate to name a girl another one of my favourite flowers and that is Marigold. They are yellow and orange puff balls of happiness.
