HelpRe: Name suggestions for a male character who is the personification of death?

The grim reaper is a psychopomp, not really death itself. He accompanies the soul to the other side. For that reason I always saw him as rather comforting, if a bit gloomy. So I'd give him a name with a friendly meaning, like Daniyar, Samir, Emre, or Mitra or something.
