Millicent or Mildred?
Wdyt? I was thinking of a long name for nn Millie.

I don't love Mildred - that "-dred" syllable suggests less a name than an emotion, and not a pleasant one.I do rather like Millicent.
Mildred still sounds so severe. Millicent sounds airy. I'd like Millicent nn Millie.
I love the name Millicent because it's my best friend's name.
I absolutely love both names. I think Millicent wins out, because it just sounds better (in my opinion), but Mildred is beautiful, too (:

I honestly like Mildred but I don’t have the guts to use it.
Don't like either, Camilla, Romilly, Amelia

I prefer Mildred. Millicent is like decimal coinage.
I love Millicent because of a childhood book I adored that featured the name. I really like Mildred too, but Millicent wins out. I find it beautiful and princess like. Very light and airy and sparkling silvery blue.
Like dandelion fluff!
I'm not particularly fond of either but I like Mildred better. I don't like how Millicent feels in my mouth.
I find Millicent to be the softer option so I prefer this name. The last syllable of Mildred reminds me of the word "dread".
