Alexandria, Penelope or Appolonia?

Replies

Penelope is fine, though I must admit that Alexandria perhaps the most usable - though Alexandra is far prettier.
Alexandria. My love for Penelope has significantly died down over the years but it's still a decent name. Appolonia (I assume you meant Apollonia?) is a serious tongue twister for me and kinda tedious. It sounds pretty, though.
Penelope. Alexandria is too frilly and I think Appolonia is ugly as well as pretentious. And Penny is a cute nickname.
This is my subjective opinion and I am trying to share it respectfully.
But If I hurt anyone's feelings I apologize in advance Penelope - I never liked this name and don't understand why it's gaining popularity in English-speaking countries. Maybe a non-native speaker can't understand, but I think this name is overrated. Alexandria - Alexandria is very elegant and I really like place names. Alexandria is classy and beautiful sounding, it sounds mature and if the length bothers you I can think of some shorter nicknames: Ria, Andria, Andra, Alexa, AlexandraApollonia - my favorite very elegant rare and unique sounding. It can't be really shorten to a nice nickname which doesn't bother because the name is so beautiful in full lengh. I like Apollonia as a middle name
Alexandria
1. Alexandria
2. Penelope
3. Appoloniaif I had to pick just one I'd probably choose Alexandria.
Alexandria. It is elegant, and I like all the nickname potential - Alex, Xan, Ria, etc...
I'm not fond of the -ope ending in Penelope. Apolonia, while refreshingly unusual, is a bit awkward sounding.
I like Apollonia best.
Apollonia (the correct spelling)
Penelope, all the way. I dislike geographical and city names, and quite apart from being long, clumsy and rhythmically unpleasing, Appolonia is a spelling error.
Alexandria

1. Alexandria
2. Penelope (nn Penny)
3. Appolonia
Penelope
Apollonia (kinda reminds me of bologna)
Alexandria (I prefer Alexandra)
1 Penelope (nn Penny or Nell)
2 Apollonia (nn Polly)
3 Alexandria (prefer Alexandra)
Apollonia, no contest. Alexandria is one too many syllables (I adore Alexandra), and I think Penelope is awful.
Meant to spell it as Apollonia.

I'm not sure guests can do that.
