I'd take Caroline rather than either of these; as it is, I'll go for Rachel.

It would be a closer call if it were Caroline, but Rachel would still win.

Definitely Rachel. Carolyn is awkward and dated. Rachel used to seem like a nothing name to me because I saw it everywhere but it's really grown on me.

I don't mind either name but I slightly prefer Rachel.

I prefer Carolyn.

Rachel. I have loved it for years and if husband and I ever have a future daughter it’s the name we’ve agreed on. I don’t dislike Carolyn I just love Rachel.
