Re: Twins

That's amazing! My grandmother, Florence Beatrice, named her second daughter - my mother - Beatrice, which I used for my daughter. I also love Florence, and everyone loved my Gran, but I'm put off by nns like Florrie and Flo. One of my great-uncles named his daughter Florence Beatrice, after his sister, and she was always Auntie Florrie. I've only known one human Matilda, who didn't impress me, and our wonderful Matilda dog had been named by the rescue centre = she was known as Matt the Mutt. I love the shimmering beauty of Miranda, but only as a mn: Beatrice Miranda would have suited my Mum but she didn't have a mn.
For twin girls, maybe Alice and Celia? Laura and Helen? Lucy and Tessa? Asterisk* for honouring names.
Alice Emily* and Celia Vickie*
Laura Gillian and Helen Suzanne*
Lucy Michele* and Tessa* Juliet
