Mimi

I prefer Mirabel as a name, but as a full name for the nn Mimi I prefer Miriam. Not that I'd ever use Miriam - I don't like it that much.
It could work for Mirabel which is why I would choose it. I like Mimi as a NN.
I know several people who call their grandmothers Mimi. Also know of someone's great-aunt Marie who is called Mimi by most of her family, and a girl named, I think, Ameeyah (that's how it's pronounced, anyway) who is called Mimi.
I would never call a daughter that. It sounds like baby talk. I guess I'd pick Maria for the full name, but again, I would not use Mimi, or any nn, for something as pretty as Maria.

Sure, Mimi works for Mirabel.
I'd consider it for Melpomene or Millicent Amy (Amy as a MN honoring my mother).

I think Mirabel “Mimi” works great!
